An adult change table is a height adjustable table for changing, toileting and personal care. It lowers for wheelchair or hoist transfers and raises to a comfortable working height for carers, which protects their backs.

Padded side rails or cot sides keep the user secure.

Adult change table FAQs

Do you sell baby change tables?

We sell height adjustable change tables for schools, care facilities and clinics, not home nappy change units. The ABCO Infant table has an 800 x 500mm top, the ABCO Junior and Space Saver tables have 1250mm tops, and the Healthtec LynX Junior is 1460mm long. The ABCO Change table and Healthtec LynX Adult are 1930mm long, and the ABCO Wide has a 1000mm wide top.

How low do adult change tables go for wheelchair transfers?

The Healthtec LynX Adult lowers to 480mm, and its Hoist Access version starts at 590mm with 150mm of hoist clearance. ABCO Change, Wide and Space Saver tables lower to between 450 and 490mm for independent or hoist transfers. The ABCO Infant lowers to 440mm.

How much weight can a change table hold?

Lifting capacity is 300kg on the ABCO Change table and 250kg on the Healthtec LynX Adult and Junior. It is 200kg on the ABCO Wide, 150kg on the Space Saver and 100kg on the Infant, while static load is 600kg on the ABCO Change table and 400kg on the LynX. Ask us about the ABCO Small, Medium and Junior tables.

What safety features do adult change tables have?

The Healthtec LynX Adult and Junior tables come with padded safety side rails as standard. Padded cot sides are optional on the ABCO Change and Space Saver tables, and the ABCO Junior has cot ends that extend the top. ABCO twin columns add no lengthwise movement while the height changes.

What warranty do change tables have?

Healthtec LynX Adult and Junior tables carry 10 years structural, 5 years motor and 3 years upholstery. ABCO Change, Wide, Space Saver, Infant, Junior, Small and Medium tables all carry 5 years, parts only.

How long does delivery take?

All change tables are made to order and arrive 4 to 6 weeks after you order. This covers the ABCO Change, Wide, Space Saver, Infant, Junior, Small and Medium tables and the Healthtec LynX Adult and Junior tables.

Are you a registered NDIS provider?

No. We are not a registered NDIS provider. Call us to check whether your funding type can be used.

Can I return a table if I change my mind?

Yes, within 30 days of receiving it. You pay return freight and the table must arrive like new in its original packaging. Some products have different terms.
