Hospital Carts

Hospital carts keep ward, theatre and emergency supplies in drawers that roll to the bedside. Unlike open shelving or a fixed cupboard, the stock moves with your team.

Our range is the Dalcross Quattro series: narrow storage carts, general ward carts, and oncology, emergency, paediatric emergency and anaesthetic carts. Most have powder-coated steel bodies, ABS plastic tops and drawers on telescopic runners.

Also called medical carts, hospital trolleys and medical storage carts.

Call 1300 990 239 and we will help you choose. We match identical products from Australian retailers.

What to Look For in a Hospital Trolley

Feature What it means for you
Central locking One lock secures all 5 drawers on carts such as the General 5 Drawer, so a shared room needs one key. The Anaesthetic Cart uses a central key lock on its 5 drawers.
Included accessories The Emergency Cart comes with an IV pole, rotating defibrillator shelf, oxy cylinder holder and backboard. The Anaesthetic Cart comes with 16 flip bins (12 small, 4 large), an IV pole, a glove dispenser and a waste bin.
Narrow body The Narrow 5 Drawer and Narrow Emergency Cart suit rooms and corridors where a full size cart will not fit. Dalcross does not publish dimensions yet, so call us to confirm the width before you order.
Soft-close drawers Drawers close gently on the Oncology and Anaesthetic carts, and on both emergency carts. Dalcross lists soft-close on the blue General 5 Drawer only.
Wall protection Rubber corner buffers on the General 5 Drawer and Oncology carts protect walls and door frames as you move them.
Colour coding The Paediatric Emergency Cart drawers follow the Broselow Tape colours, which match a child's height to equipment size and dose. Red emergency carts and the lilac oncology cart are easy to spot on a busy ward.
